About Total Eren
INDEPENDENT PRODUCER OF ELECTRICITY FROM RENEWABLE ENERGY
Multidisciplinary, Total Eren is involved and active throughout the development process of a renewable energy project.
The choice to support all phases of development and implementation of a project is fully in line with Total Eren’s strategic desire to invest in profitable production plants, with a controlled risk profile, and to retain control of these assets over the long term.
Total Eren is thus an independent power producer (“IPP”) from renewable energies.
After two decades of strong growth, major sectors such as wind power and solar photovoltaic have reached both technological and economic maturity.
They have developed massively in Western countries thanks to support policies and an overall drop in production costs.
However, many countries still have insufficient electricity production capacities, while they have significant quality resources both in terms of wind resources (wind speed) and solar resources (sunshine).
Total Eren develops mainly in countries where renewable energies are a competitive response to growing energy needs.
Coupled with high local energy prices, this quality of resource makes it possible to produce electricity at particularly competitive and attractive costs.
Total Eren intends to initiate and respond to new opportunities for the deployment of renewable energies internationally, in countries committed to strengthening their electricity production capacities from renewable energy, or for energy-intensive industrial consumers seeking to reduce the cost and environmental impact of their electricity supply, which is often covered by existing thermal power stations.
