ROLE: REGIONAL MANAGER, EUROPE
LOCATION: LONDON OR EUROPE BY AGREEMENT
SALARY: COMPETITIVE

Position: Full-time or Part-time pro-rated

Contract: One year (renewable)

The Europe Regional Manager is a member of the Networks & Communities team, working along other Regional Managers and supporters, and interacting closely with other teams.

S/he is an enthusiastic ambassador for the Council’s Humanising Energy vision and working to involve more people and communities in mobilising clean and just energy transitions worldwide.

S/he supports the delivery of this agenda in the Europe region, fosters productive engagement of members in activities and works with the Europe Regional Vice Chair to build and activate relationships in member countries and beyond.

The Regional Manager works closely with our diverse community in the region and supports relationship building with governments, companies, academia, and other international organisations that can help deliver the Council mission and deliver impact at scale.

We are seeking a Europe guru with proven experience of building relationships with a wide range of (energy) stakeholders and who is passionate about the Council’s mission and wants to join us to move faster and further together to humanise the energy transition.

Key Objectives:

Be the Council community manager for the Europe region, providing a thorough understanding of stakeholder needs and challenges, and actioning regional priorities.

Closely engage with the region’s member committees and create working relationships with their management teams to enable a pro-active relationship management of the Council’s community in Europe.

Strengthen and extend our network, growing the organisation’s capacity to develop and support members in the region, facilitating their involvement and creating opportunities for impact.

Enhance the Council’s regional visibility and help members leverage and translate the Council’s assets into tangible value and impactful agendas for their coun

Opportunities for Solar Energy Development in Europetry in support of the Council’s mission and Humanising Energy vision.

Ensure regular dialogue with regional stakeholders and plan, coordinate and implement successful regional events convening high-level stakeholders to discuss key issues.
