We are studying and developing next-generation materials for photovoltaics, including perovskite materials. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>***Also read about a recent 30.3% efficiency milestone in perovskite solar cells <a href=\"https:\/\/solareyesinternational.com\/australian-surpassed-30-efficiency-with-tandem-perovskite-silicon-solar-cell\/\">here<\/a>.<\/em> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Perovskites are a new generation of semiconductors consisting of organic-inorganic metal<br>halides with opto-electronic properties that can be tuned for applications as light-emitting diodes, detectors, or solar cells.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Perovskites can be processed from wet chemical methods, mechanochemical, and physical\/chemical vapor deposition techniques on various surfaces. In a short time, perovskite solar cells reached exceptional efficiencies of 25.7 % (single junction) and 32.5 % (perovskite on silicon tandem).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ufeff<a href=\"https:\/\/solareyesinternational.com\/australian-surpassed-30-efficiency-with-tandem-perovskite-silicon-solar-cell\/\">Australian Researchers Surpassed 30% Efficiency with Tandem Perovskite-Silicon Solar Cell<\/a><span data-rich-text-placeholder=\"Type \/ to choose a block\" contenteditable=\"false\" style=\"pointer-events:none;user-select:none;-webkit-user-select:none;-moz-user-select:none;-ms-user-select:none;\"><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At ipv, we study the fundamental working mechanisms of novel perovskite materials. Guided with this deeper understanding, we built optoelectronic devices such as LEDs, detectors or solar cells.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Your_tasks\"><\/span>Your tasks:<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>You will synthesize novel perovskite materials with both chemical and physical strategies.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You will develop new methods to modify the perovskite material including the crystallization<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>chemistry during thin-film formation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You will fabricate high efficiency perovskite solar cells on a laboratory scale with our existing<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>technology.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You will understand the thin film properties using theoretical and simulation methods.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You will be responsible for the material and device characterization using different methods<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>for example SEM, XRD, PL, electrical measurements, DLS, impedance spectroscopy.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You will guide master and bachelor students<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You will collaborate with various academic and industrial partners<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You will publish high quality papers, present work at conferences, and write scientific reports<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>in high quality journals<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Your_profile\"><\/span>Your profile:<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Successfully completed a doctoral degree in the field of chemistry, physics, materials science, or related.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Background in semiconductors and solar cell technologies<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Experience in perovskite material synthesis, device fabrication, and characterization<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Self-motivation and problem-solving skills<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Team playing skills and a high scientific aptitude for discussion and collaboration<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Excellent communication skills and experience in organizational work<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Excellent command in English with German language skills will be a plus, but not
