Victron Energy is looking for: Account Manager North America<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Do you have experience with commercial battery-based energy systems? We are looking for an experienced and autonomous Account Manager to secure new business opportunities in the North American market. The candidate will join our existing North American sales team of four experienced and motivated individuals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \ufeffOpportunities for Solar Energy Development in Europe<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n If this career opportunity seems to be a natural development of your commercial and technical background, please apply by sending an Email with your resume and a cover letter to Reian Werkman (see below).<\/p>\n\n\n\n Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Expand our customer base and build a strong market presence;<\/p>\n\n\n\n Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs;<\/p>\n\n\n\n Present realistic sales forecasts to the management team;<\/p>\n\n\n\n Identify emerging markets and market developments; together with new products and competition status;<\/p>\n\n\n\n Focus on setting up new distributor accounts<\/p>\n\n\n\n Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Successful previous experience as a sales representative or sales manager, consistently meeting or exceeding targets;<\/p>\n\n\n\n Committed to continuous learning through workshops, seminars and conferences;<\/p>\n\n\n\n Committed to travel, mostly in North America. Every now and then outside of the continent. You will be traveling about 50% of the time;<\/p>\n\n\n\n \ufeffOpportunities for Solar Energy Development in Europe<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization;<\/p>\n\n\n\n Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to attainment;<\/p>\n\n\n\n Strong business sense and industry expertise;<\/p>\n\n\n\n Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills;<\/p>\n\n\n\n At least 5 years of experience in sales, preferably in B2B strategic partnerships;<\/p>\n\n\n\n An ability to work independently;<\/p>\n\n\n\n Outstanding commercial judgment;<\/p>\n\n\n\n Experience in battery-based energy systems;<\/p>\n\n\n\n Living in North America<\/p>\n\n\n\n What\u2019s on offer?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n About Victron Energy <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Victron Energy, founded in 1975, designs and builds inverters, chargers, and many other power conversion products.
