About Global Green Growth Institute (GGGI)
The Global Green Growth Institute (GGGI) is a treaty-based international, inter-governmental organization dedicated to supporting and promoting strong, inclusive and sustainable economic growth in developing countries and emerging economies.
A global transition toward a model of green growth.
While this will be differentiated at the country level, at its core will be strategies that simultaneously achieve poverty reduction, social inclusion, environmental sustainability, and economic growth.
GGGI’s five core values – Integrity, Transformational, Inclusive, Boldness, and Excellence provide the guiding framework for the way we work.

GGGI Strategy 2030 sets the course for GGGI’s efforts to effectively support its Members needs’ in transforming their economies toward environmentally sustainable and socially inclusive green growth.
The 2015 Paris Agreement calls for a strengthened global response to the threat of climate crisis and deteriorating environmental conditions, seeking to keep a global temperature rise this century to well below 2°C above pre-industrial levels.
Additionally, the Paris Agreement aims to strengthen the ability of countries to deal with the impacts of climate change combined with their obligations under the 2030 Development Agenda’s Sustainable Development Goals to promote sustainable and inclusive development.
