Join TotalEnergies Renewables USA, LLC as a Solar Project Development Manager in our Austin, TX office. This is a new addition to our team as we are strengthening our presence in renewable energies.
Electricity demand is set to rise faster than global demand for energy as a whole in the coming years. What You Will Bring As Solar Project Development Manager:
- Education: 4-year technical or business degree from an accredited college program
- Work Experience: 3-5 years renewable energy project development (solar PV preferred)
- Multiple market experience/exposure is ideal (CAISO, ERCOT, PJM, MISO, or SPP).
- Demonstrated ability to manage projects, people, and strategic objectives; Project Management Professional certification preferred
- Subject matter expertise (e.g. real estate, environmental, permitting, tax abatements) highly valued

What You Will Be Doing
- Advise Land Acquisition Specialists on greenfield targets and negotiations to ensure financeable lease/purchase options and site control agreements with landowners. As needed, contract and supervise local land agents.
- Intimate knowledge and ability to follow closely the renewable energy power market trends including changing technologies, regulations, and regulatory/ financial incentives
- Lead and coordinate development activities for assigned pipeline projects
- Collaborate with assigned Project Manager to maintain project schedules and ensure the project meets budgets
- Bring your market knowledge and expertise of CAISO, ERCOT, PJM, MISO, or SPP.
