Our Graduate Program lasts for 18 months (with an Apprenticeship contract) and is designed to provide you with a solid foundation of knowledge and skills through a dynamic training journey. You will have the opportunity to understand how our Company operates, acquiring extensive preparation in our main business areas through rotations in four key sectors.

At the end of the program, you will be ready to develop your career as a Junior Material Buyer, acquiring skills in the following areas:
Stock Control & Logistics: Acquiring knowledge on how to ensure that stock material is available, correctly valued and purchased according to defined parameters. Calculating through the MRP system the required reorder quantities within the necessary delays for standard operations (maintenance, field operations, drilling, etc.). Analyzing stock level, creating and updating the materials catalogue, performing physical inventories. Understanding materials flow in the warehouse, packaging, marking, storage and maintenance of the items managed in stock.
Material Purchasing: Acquiring knowledge of the overall material purchasing process and related activities in line with our Fields Operations, supporting the creation and management of Material POs (incl. expediting), participation to contractual Terms & Conditions negotiations.

Contracts & procurement methods and Supplier Relationship Management: Developing supplier database (incl. qualification campaign through SEQUANA tool) and establishing supplier relationship and partnerships. Understanding the main drivers within procurement and establishing the most significant key performance indicators
Contract Engineering: Acquiring the basis of procurement & contract engineering: how to define procurement strategy, perform market analysis, manage complex call for tender (incl. local content constraints, sustainable and climate objectives). Learning how to make effective procurement decisions through use of price and cost analysis/business case modelling, building and negotiating contracts.
Legal: Acquiring knowledge in energy sector main standard contracts. Understanding of the principal contractual clauses and mechanisms: warranty, liability, insurance, termination, force majeure, knock for knock regime, governing laws. Using TotalEnergies standard contracts library.
