Background: SEforALL
Governance and accountability
Our governance structure consists of an Administrative Board, a Funders’ Council, and is defined by our bylaws and statutes:
The Administrative Board is our principal governing body. Its Chair and members provide guidance on strategic direction and handle all policymaking decisions, including appointing the CEO and approving the annual work plan.
We rely on partner contributions to fund our operations. The SEforALL Funders’ Council is a consultative group that provides advice and recommendations to the CEO and Administrative Board.
Our Leadership Council is composed of distinguished leaders with a shared mission to accelerate action on Sustainable Development Goal 7 (SDG7) and the Paris Agreement.
It is not a formal governance body but collaborates with our Administrative Board and CEO to advance SEforALL’s reach and impact.
Accountability
We are committed to excellence in relationship management, governance and monitoring, evaluation and learning so that we remain a trusted partner to our funders and partners.
This includes providing a compelling value proposition and targeted outcomes, which are outlined in our 3-year Business Plan and in our annual workplans. We are also proud of our financial management, demonstrated by our financial audits.
Our annual reports provide an overview of the activities we undertake over a calendar year, documenting successes and learnings as well as important governance and financial information.
